The Random Scribbling

During my school and college days, whenever I felt puzzled or thoughtful, I used to randomly write things. It was like writing whatever came to my mind at that instance without giving any deep thought to what I am writing and without thinking about correctness of language or words. The purpose was always to clear out my mind, do introspections and get to know my-self. After every such writing I have felt very calm and content and for me it worked even better than meditation. The reason why such writings almost always helps is that our mind does not work in a linear fashion. In fact, it is as random as entropy can be. While on the other side the people around us expect us to be predictable, linear, and very balanced in our working. For people like me who try to fulfill such expectations this gets too puzzling and they need a way out to channelize this randomness out of their mind which otherwise results in creating a web around one's mind and choking it out.
