Agni-IV

Agni-IV,,earlier know as Agni-II Prime ,is a new variant of the nuclear-capable surface-to-surface intermediate range missile Agni ballistic missile with a strike range of 3,000 km, recently successfully test fired . can be fired from mobile missile launcher .

Agni-IV missile is a two-stage weapon system powered by solid propellant. It can carry one tonne pay-load.The Agni-II missile has a strike range of 2,000 km and Agni-III can hit a target at a distance of up to 3,500 km, this new Agni-IV would bridge the gap between Agni-II and Agni-III,
